Open Hands Initiative is proud to announce that we have just returned from a fact-finding mission to a diverse and fascinating country located at the heart of the Middle East: Jordan. This special destination is where we will be hosting our next exchange program. It\u2019s one of the MENA region\u2019s most prominent hubs for start-ups and young business founders, but it\u2019s also a place rich with culture and history.<\/p>\n

The new project we have brewing will take place later this year and will focus on building bonds through entrepreneurship\u2014a practice and process that helps empower communities and create new opportunities for everyday people. And for the first time ever, Open Hands Initiative will be focusing exclusively on addressing the needs and empowerment of emerging young women leaders.<\/p>\n

While visiting this special place, we were lucky enough to have the opportunity to meet with a number of people who call the country\u2019s capital home. Over many cups of tea, we exchanged ideas about how to promote cross cultural exchange between the people of our two countries. We also traded thoughts on how best to support economic development in the region and how to implement strategies to help encourage and support the growth of young entrepreneurs from both the host country and the United States.<\/p>\n
