This forum will discuss Egypt\u2019s ongoing revolution, with a focus on Global Post and Open Hands Initiative\u2019s exchange project that brought 7 American and 8 Egyptian top, young, journalists together for the \u201cCovering a Revolution\u201d Reporting Fellowship held in Cairo in October of 2011.<\/p>\n<p>During the fellowship, the journalists participated in a three-day seminar led by Egyptian and American expert panelists, and later conducted five days of field reporting. Five \u201cbeats,\u201d meant to build awareness and understanding of the Egyptian Revolution, were covered by the Reporting Fellows:\u00a0 Arts and Culture, Economy and Tourism, Human Rights and Justice, Politics and Governance, and Religion and Minorities.<\/p>\n<p>Since the conclusion of the program, the reporting fellows <a href=\"http:\/\/www.globalpost.com\/special-reports\/the-army-the-people\">work<\/a> has been showcased by a 25-part Special Report on Global Post. The collaborative series has been viewed by more than 2 million visitors from across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>For more information on the Reporting Fellowship please see the Open Hands Initiative page on <a href=\"http:\/\/openhandsinitiative.org\/projectAreas\/mediaDemocracy.html\">Media and Democracy in Transition<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Tufts\u2019 Forum panel will include three of the <a href=\"http:\/\/openhandsinitiative.org\/projectAreas\/reportingFellows.html\">reporting fellows<\/a> ; Global Post\u2019s Executive Editor, Charles Sennot; the founder of Open Hands Initiative, <a href=\"http:\/\/openhandsinitiative.org\/founders\/jay%20snyder.html\">Jay T.
